Walk the path of the ancient Maya. The retreat will show you how to find harmony, come into alignment with ancient wisdom and find you own path in life. It is a deep dive into the sacred Tzolk'in, the sacred human calendar of the Maya where we find the plan for our lives written by the Heart Sky and the Fathermother through channeled wisdom of the shamans. Come learn how YOU can find peace and balance by applying this harmonious wisdom to your own life and while you do, you get to walk in the sacred places including seeing the Feathered Serpent descend the pyramid at Chichen Itza on the Spring Equinox!
In addition, you'll get to soak in a cenote cave-pool where the Maya go to pray and have personal time with our shaman who is the only healer left in his village. This retreat is a rare gift!

Chichen Itza
Fall Equinox in the ruins of Chichen Itza! Come watch the feathered serpent descend to earth on this auspicious day! Then explore the captivating ruins of the World UNESCO sacred site!
Cenote Choj Ha
Soak in crystalline waters of this remote cave cenote. This sacred pool is where the Maya go to pray and is considered, not only stunning, but also an active portal to Xibalba, the Maya underworld!
Archeology Hacienda
Follow the footsteps of archeologists, and stay in the hacienda on the grounds of Chichen Itza where the team stayed that uncovered the ruins. This includes access to the ruins an hour early through the archology entrance! PLUS its a stunning resort!
Shamanic Limpia
Visit with our shaman and have a personal and powerful cleansing ceremony. You will also meet his lovely family and get an inside peek into traditional Maya life.
Maya Rituals
Participate in Daily Rituals as we meet the Day Gods and begin to understand the energies of the 4 directions. Learn a bit of the Mayan language and how to perform the rituals at home too!
Your Itinerary
Journey in Body and Spirit
Day 1
Journey in Yucatan

We will meet you at a charming beach restaurant for breakfast at 8AM so we can get acquainted a bit and chat about our upcoming adventure.

Then we leave and drive into the Yucatan!

First stop is a breathtaking cenote in the jungle. It is a sacred place where the Maya still go to pray. While you are there you can soak in the crystal waters, center yourself, feel the magic of the other-worlds, and set your intentions for your walk down the path of the Feathered Serpent!

We will have a picnic lunch on the cenote grounds and you can purchase native honey and honey products!

Then we go check in at Hacienda Chichen, the hacienda that was the original plantation that included the ruins of Chichen Itza! Thompson, the archeologist who owned it and excavated the ruins, is buried on the grounds and a cave you can use for meditation is on the hacienda grounds as well!

After you have time to freshen up, we will meet on the big covered porch in comfy chairs for your first "Path of the Feathered Serpent" workshop. You will learn about your personal Tzolkin energies and how you can come into alignment with this ancient wisdom to increase your personal success in every area of your life!

We will have a traditional Maya dinner in a local restaurant

Then get a great nights sleep in magical grounds!
Day 2
Magic in the Ruins
- Begin the day with a very traditional Maya breakfast

Then you will dive deeper into understanding your personal Path of the Feathered Serpent with a workshop by Laura

Break for a walk in the garden or some quiet time

Then you will participate in the Ritual of the 4 Directions, a powerful Maya ritual to bring you into alignment with the ancient energies of the Maya

Lunch will be in a quaint Maya town

Afternoon break can include a lovely soak in the cenote-water filled pool

Then at 2 pm, we will enter the ruins and see a few important sites

That is when the MAGIC begins!

Dinner after that super -charged experience will be in the lovey Hacienda restaurant of the hotel premises

Then et a good nights sleep still soaking in the magic of the event, since you will still technically be in the traditional ruins grounds!

Day 3
Shamanic Healing

You will begin the day with a lovely Maya breakfast

Then we check out of the hacienda and head to the home of Don Francisco
-
Each of you will have a personal, private cleansing and healing session with our shaman, Don Francisco
-
Max will translate for you since Don Francisco only speaks Spanish and Mayan

You will spend time at Don Francisco's very traditional Maya home and get to know his family

After eveyone's sessions are done, there will be time for you to ask any questions you have. Don Francisco loves to teach and is very happy to share!

When we are finished, we will head to a fun restaurant for lunch and then head back to Puerto Morelos where we will help you will check back into your beachy hotel.

At 7pm we will meet for dinner in one of our favorite restaurants near the beach.

This is the official end of your retreat

After dinner, you are free to explore this quaint fishing village that comes alive when the sun goes down!

We will recommend a few places you might want to shop, including hand-made silver jewelry!

Make your way back to your hotel (everything is walking distance) and get a good nights sleep.

Laura LaBrie
Author, researcher, photographer, and adventurer, Laura LaBrie, has been living in Mexico and Central America for the past 12 years. She spends her time in remote villages and wild places learning as much as she can about Maya culture, life, and connection to the spirit realms, supernatural beings, and other dimensions! She is super excited to share everything she has learned with YOU! There are amazing secrets and ancient wisdom hidden in the jungles of the Yucatan Peninsula and Laura is passionate about unearthing them and incorporating them into daily life. She has even been asked by the Maya elders to share their wisdom, their ways, and their connection to spirit with the world and she is excited to make good on her promise to do just that!

Cool clothing. This is Mexico and it is going to be hot even in March. Think breathable, loose-fitting fabrics.
Bathing suit for soaking in a breathtaking cenote, a lovely pools, and the ocean.
Extra spending money for buying goodies to bring home like rare honey products and handmade silver jewelry. Also, even though all your food and drinks are included, if you choose to enjoy a cocktail or other alcoholic beverage, you'll need a bit of extra cash for that too. Mexican Pesos are the local currency and you can use your ATM card to get them here.
Adventure shoes will help you on your path. Think cool and comfy!

A wonderful, totally sublime experience. What can I expect from attending a retreat?
This is a time when like-minded people come together from all over the world to explore spirituality from both without and within. You can expect a compassionate and encouraging environment, workshops, group excursions, free time, shared meals, and time to connect one-on-one with Laura.
What airport should I fly into?
We are located in Puerto Morelos, just 20 minutes south of the CANCUN, MEXICO airport! (Yes, you get to visit us in paradise!)
How much time will I have on my own?
Each day has time built in for you to reflect, meditate, and on some days, even explore on your own.

I live nearby! Can I sign up for some of the workshops/excursions without attending the entire retreat?
The only way to join the retreat group is to sign up for the entire trip. We understand that people might like to join us for just an afternoon or two, but in order to maintain the intimacy of the group, we don’t allow this.
Can I stay at another location?
Because we will be out on so many adventures and staying in remote places, it is not possible at this time to stay at a different location.
How can I find a roommate?
If you are traveling alone and would like us to connect you with a roomate (remember all accommodations while we are in Puerto Morelos are double occupancy condos with private bedrooms) contact Laura at connect@lauralabrie.com.
How many people do you expect to attend?
Our retreats are small and intimate, providing you with personal attention. We will only take a MAXIMUM of 7 guests.
Can I bring my children or spouse?
Yes! We would love for your spouse and/or children to join us, however, the minimum age for children joining our retreat is 18 years-old.
Are there scholarships available? OR can I trade my services in exchange for going on the trip?
We don’t have any scholarships available for our retreats at this time, nor are we accepting an exchange of services. The only way to attend is to register.
