Between Glyph & Leaf: Maya Rituals and Apothecary

Step into a living world where every glyph holds a key and every leaf carries a spirit.

For centuries, the Maya have walked between the seen and unseen worlds, guided by the wisdom of plants, symbols, and ceremony. Between Glyph & Leaf opens that doorway, inviting you to explore the sacred language of the twenty day signs of the Tzolk’in alongside the botanicals, colors, and directions that weave them into ritual practice.

This book is part grimoire, part apothecary, and part companion on the ceremonial path. Inside, you’ll discover:

  • The Twenty Maya Day Signs – Each sign revealed through its glyph, direction, element, and color, showing how these energies shape our lives and cycles.

  • Sacred Botanicals – Traditional and introduced plants linked with each glyph, carrying healing, protective, and magical properties.

  • Rituals and Practices – Simple yet powerful ways to engage with glyphs and plants: from altar work and offerings to invocations and symbolic acts.

  • Symbols and Meanings – Guidance for weaving glyphs and botanicals into daily practice, allowing you to experience balance, connection, and renewal.

  • The Living Maya Tradition – Insights drawn from time spent with healers, story-keepers, and artisans of the Yucatán, grounding this work in the voices and practices of a culture that is very much alive.

A Path of Ceremony

Between Glyph & Leaf is more than a book—it is a pathway into relationship. Each page is an invitation to slow down, to listen, and to honor the conversation between symbols, plants, and spirit. Whether you are drawing a glyph, tending an altar, or simply reflecting on the meanings within, you are participating in a dialogue that has echoed across centuries.

This book is for seekers, dreamers, and lovers of ritual and plant magic—for those who long to reconnect with the natural world as a living, breathing teacher.
